I only had a look at your first replay, and hope this feedback can give you some help: My first impression was, good, you know the early game arrow opening. but why do you build more to the right than us others? What difference does it make? One good: more speed (good if you want to kill your oponents with speed) One Bad: The 2 pass is shorter, so the creeps will not dissapear over the towers, before the first creeps appear under the tower. This can be seen at lvl 1-3. However, if we look at lvl 4 you succeed to kill them all anyway. Why? Because you both overbuild arrows at area 5 (spend more cash than you have to), and micro very well. so I highly recommend you to build the group of 1-2 towers that do oneshotkill, more to the left, and you will have easier, and be able to farm more cash. (unless you want to play fast) lvl 4: You raise one of your towers a bit late, so the 2 of them doing one shot kill were risking to get unsynched. luckily they didn't, but if they do, a good trick is to select both of them and spam s until they both stop attacking, then let them begin attacking again, and they will chose the same target:) lvl 7: good that you use earth tower, now that we got randomed a good standalone element you no longer have to worry about following the arrow thing, but you overbuild alot here. if 150g would be enough for arrows at 4, why would you need to spend 225g on earth tower if earth is stronger? lvl 9: great (yeah, i can sometimes say friendly things too ) lvl 10: you overbuild again lvl 11: boss=longpass but please remember to play 2 pass if facing a wave of creeps, (except for long range such as dark tower, and towers such as nova kindle tidal quark) lvl 14: I guess you realized too late that earth was needed lvl 15: isn't it time to raise a mushroom tower soon? trust me, it's good:) lvl 16: Err... sorry to say, but elemental arrows was one of the worst possible choices here you need splash damage here, so earth tower would be perfect, even mushroom could have done combined with cannons, if you'd have a mushroom from earlier, and too lazy to switch. lvl 17: hmm, arrow towers on long pass... I can't figure what they are for, because the only reason to have arrows in the middle is for beating bosses, and nature tower and mushroom tower are the strongest single target towers atm, and earth tower would work good too - ON 2-PASS is Very important. The few arrows on long pass area 5 we use in the beginning is just because it's a minor trick needed for 2pass at 4 to work out. lvl 19: why longpass? I would sugguest again 2 pass, at area 3, 6 or maybe 4. mushrooms at 4 should not have a problem. lvl 20: arrow towers favors mech i might have said, but that was compared to cannons there is no need to switch to arrows for mech if you have other single target towers that are better, such as nature tower and mushroom. lvl 21: go back to 2pass! lvl 22: Still, arrows is one of your worst towers at the moment. roots is one of the best - it can easily solo lvl 1-27 at a fairily good placement. level 23: Ah you raised a roots tower great. but how about the placement huh? 2pass goes for this too. level 28: ... earth vs nature?.. if you want, try out a dual roots, on 2passes, so that one works where the other stoops working. (one at area 4, one at area 3/6) level 32: This is one of the hardest levels, so leaking is hard to prevent. Enchantment tower is not good earlygame, it's mostly a support tower, and not very good for damage. You also raise oblivion tower - it's a good tower, but takes some time to "start up" How to beat this level in this situation? One way would be to place roots at area 4 9 3 and the rest on something to relocate. your friend uses laser which is not a bad idea but the tower appears pretty weak, migh tneed a buff... or it's the level that's just hard level 34: Roots and enchantment are both nature dmg towers, the wave is fire . And light tower and darkness tower actually sucks... I'd sugguest oblivion tower or laser, if you go laser, that is quite weak, so might need a relocate. Oblivion just needs you to micro your archers (relocate ethem) That's about it else, well played, but remember using the 2pass:)

ok, here comes a big bunch of stupid screenshots, so from now on, none else will have to be ashamed of theirs. Some are from 3.0, some form previous versionf of 4.0, some of bugs, but most are regualr screens. Uploading an archieve of 9mb didn't work. "The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 1 MB." Another trickery bug showed up. Trickery combined with quark or fleshgolem can be used for relocating one's defense (if it's based on trickery). even to the area where "?" for random and "!" for extreme should show up. This is done by cloning quark or felshgolem, running/teleporting away, and building arrows or something, where the trickery used to be, and it can't tele back. The replay is rather long, and the last 15 mins are quite uninteresting, because I'm mostly exparimenting around without any surprising results there, except that quark works better than fleshy^^ how about a new setup for trickery tower hehe (yes, you are allowed to kill me if i say it one more time) public beta trickery abuse.w3g

(sorry cisz to steal your question) I think I told you that in the replay i gave you of beating lvl 1-20 with investment picks. anyway, on a normal wave cannons and arrows have about equal damage, so it't doesn't matter alot which one you use. Unless you learn the system for how "oneshot-kill arrow groups works" for then arrows are the better until you need more than 2 arrows for a oneshotkill. (don't know what oneshotkill-arrow groups is? if you look at some of our replays, for lvl 2-6 we always build a group of 2 arrows (area 4), at different lvls for different tiers, that hit the same creep, and kill it. Theses arrows kill maybe 12 of the 30 creeps before the creeps begin to show up on the other lane, and would therefor leak a few, if we didn't use the other trick, some temporary arrows at area 5 As we remember that the groups needs to contain a special amount of arrows everylevel, to just manage to kill the creeps, that is a safer way to farm interest thatn underbuilding cannons. so - for lvl 1-5 I always use arrows, because i know 1=s(wave 2 needs one super arrow), and 2=sn (level 2 needs one super arrow and one normal arrow) Here's a short list(s means super arrow, n means normal, a means advanced, e means elementally infused): 1s 2sn 3sa 4ss 5ss 6ss 7e 8e 9en 10es 11ee 12ee 13ee (please ask if someone doesn't understand, i'm not that good at explaining things, or ask cisz to write a guide:P) Levels that require more than 2 arrows in the group , i sugguest you switch to cannons. for example if you get randomed investment at lvl 5, your lvl 8 defense would look: 8sss (and spend the rest of the cash on arrows at 5). But, you can't place 3 arrows @ area 4 with successful oneshotkill effect, so i sugguest that you build cannons instead, 3 supercannons at area 4, and the rest of the cash on (temporary)cannons at 5(can sell/rebuild for interest if you're quick. However, this is only one of the reasons, the more tricky to understand, why we use cannons and arrows in different situations. Here are some other important situations: Extreme mode: The creeps are extra fast, therefor more space between the units, and that leads to splash not beeing good. Use Arrows if you are on extreme mode! Fast Classified creeps:These are also extra fast, so never build splash on these, you can even rebuild your flamethrowers to zealout if you are on random. Use single Target/Arrows if it is a fast wave! Boss: if there is a boss/elemental incoming, single target is the better. (this is a bit tricky on lvl 30, where you need splash, but elemental comes right after you're done with them, evil creep shakeup ) Healing: Here I would sugguest arrows, especially if you can do the oneshotkill. because then creeps will. never regenerate. But it's not that important if you chose to spam 20 arrows or 20 cannons. Mechanical: Single target favors on mechanical, it is not rare that a car is running around on his own, rather than in a bunch, if he puts on his shield, while his mates gets toasted. So, Here you should use arrows (and try to use a longer 2nd pass, maybe switch to area 3 or 9.) Undead: Finally something that favors cannons. Maybe you've tried lvl 9 with arrows, and got eaten? Try a group of cannons at area 4. Splash favors undead, because when the begin to reincarnate, they often bunch alot, and the cannons can hit more than 3 creeps. so, go watch some of our replays again, maybe the one i posted in your first thread about beating lvl 1-20 with interest, or so watch some of cisz vh sr replays, with cm it means that you have to learn arrow numbers for even lvl 9, if undead does not appear there. Try to Upload a try of this, and get some feedback. Good Luck!

This is probably a tft bug there is nothing to do about, just watch out. I had 5 unspent lumber, the level was 41, and i wanted to buy 5 pure essences. so i spammed buy essence with the result: 5 essences 1 unspent lumber (yep, i bought 5 essences for 4 lumber) Essence icon dissappears This was in 3.0 when i was trying to get 10 pures, too bad it bugged, cause at the end i had the money for all the pures, just that i couldn't spend the lumber on essences:( 10 pures.w3g

I recently noticed also that Ice tower for example, does get boosted by well&smith. all except those with dmg 1-1, except for well&smith themselves with 500dmg which is bad imo for towers such as electricity and oblivion that don't get boosted, and ice and flame and enchantment that does get boosted. I think all/only damage towers should get boosted. also spellcasterdamage towers, but not support towers. maybe it ain't possible to make towers such as electricity and oblivion to stack with well&smith, but it'd be great if it was. perhaps change chainlightning from a spell into glaive thrower bouncing but with the model of a lightning jump? nah, i don't know much about the editor/coding. Why shall incantation tower with 2,472 dps/gold get boosted if waterfall with 2,255 dps/gold gets boosted. It might be a bit tricky to make a list of which towers I wish to stack with well&smith (and i always keep in mind how it'd work with my proposal of trickery, i never count in the current one, as it doesn't appear to work out balanced in any way). But i guess that list would be unneeded as it probably is impossible to make towers such as decease and olbivion to stack with blacksmith&well(& a working trickery). Anyway, what would be good and probably possible is to remove smith&well-stacking from ice, flame, enchantment, polar, voodoo, and maybe some more that are harder to decide. even ice is hard, as cisz pointed out, but if ice is boosted, shall flame be boosted? -

heh, maybe i didn't point it out clearly, but the idea was actually that every original tower can only have one clone:) only a 2floor building (just like they can only be affected by well&smith once at a time) also I tried to point out, that it should only work out on damage towers/on towers that can be affected by well&smith. So - it won't be able to clone the ice tower, because the ice tower is a) not a damage tower not able to be boosted by well or smith. and, it won't be able to make 10 clones of periodic, but one clone of each periodic, because the part some might have misunderstood - the clone will be placed on top of the Original tower, not the trickery tower (and clones can not be cloned ofc) so there Will ofc be max one clone per original tower, and it will only work on dmg towers, towers that well&smith work on, (they do work out on skills such as quaker skill) -

if you get randomed 3 investment picks, this is a short sample of how you can beat lvl 1-20 without leaking, with arrows and cannons. this one is played at area 4/5 and contains some micro, can be done slower at area 3/6/9 and with less micro/less interest farming. but interest farming is a good thing with 3 interest picks. 3 investments.w3g

just a random fact - builds containing both trickery and blacksmith or well are weaker, because they don't stack well as trickery is imbalanced atm. so for for example 6ele builds better use trickery, (except for lamer ppl like me who do just well+smith). another reason to make the new trickery. Waagh.. -
would a replay of beating lvl 1-15 without any elements help you out?

I think we got less than 40 ronalds each this time:s I totally forgot to build some more voodoo and corrosion as ronald entered, and maybe another storm and a muck would be of use, had too much polar and too little of those mentioned´and enchantment and zeal. and had 15k unspent afaik. Didn't really aim for ronalds, i was happy enough with the first 60 levels
