After 1500 they stop upgrading so if you get past that and can hold them off you will go forever. I may implement something at 3000 in the future to stop this. -
Let me see if I can describe this well. When cast (point target) it will shoot an "Orb" to the target point (it stops when it reaches the point). Along the way this "Orb" will spawn "Shards" that land randomly and deal AoE damage. "Shards" spawn every X seconds, with X being a function of the distance to target point. That way, the "Orb" will always spawn X "Shards" regardless of distance traveled.

He isn't the only person to complain about the wave. I think complaints are a combination of "it's too hard" and "it's too random" neither of which are true. However, I think a blinking indicator shortly before going off would alleviate both concerns without actually changing the wave type .

If we change MechanicalActivate event to 9 mana from 12, will it go off at 9/10/11/12 or only 9? If the former, then simply play some fast effect at 9/10/11 and activate at 12.

In that case it wasn't considered because of the lack of max hp thing. Now that I have successfully fixed Max HP for Ronalds/Elementals (I hope) this ability is totally viable.

Wait...I think I have a better idea. What is the point of the five selections (excluding "Refer")? Should the host even have the option to force everyone on the same difficulty? I propose making this limit thing the default... Here is how it would work. The refer button would be eliminated. When host selects one of the difficulties, that becomes the minimum. If you want to force VH you just select VH. If you want to allow everything you just select VE. If you want what was proposed in this thread, you just select N. Thoughts?

Let's hope this works . Disease is also getting remade to not be quasi-support. Let's examine the distribution of support tower damage types. Out of 11 total... Blacksmith - Fire Trickery - Light Well - Water Corrosion - Fire Enchantment - Nature Voodoo - Darkness Polar - Earth Windstorm - Water Muck - Earth Roots - Nature Nova - Light Fire 2x, Water 2x, Nature 2x, Light 2x, Earth 2x, Darkness 1x Since support towers are lacking in regards to dealing damage...each element has only four "damage towers" to its name. This is fine.

There is currently a password protection feature for http://www.eletd.com/irclogs. I am proposing that we eliminate this protection. What do you guys think?

They are weaker than normal towers so by trying to catch a life you take the risk of losing one .

Upon discussion with Deaod, I've got to ask a question. Why combine them? All modes stack so why not just select them together and have your mode? We could put the fog of war back in SW...

It is just that way. You can't get extra Pure until you have level three of an element.

I like the no countdown timer of Extreme Mode. What I don't like is how creeps have the old healing (% regeneration per second)...as I just threw it in there for lack of ideas. But I had a brilliant idea for extreme... Nix the healing thing, and instead start everyone off with 1 life! No countdown, no leak...GL HF!!! Thoughts?

After a couple of multiplayer test games we ran into some issues. Flesh Golem still has all of his movement icons (move, patrol, hold) so it displaces everything else.The circle of elements should be visible to all players, not just the voting one.You were right about a "Draft Query" for use in-game. If you could create a separate ability (the one on elements is fine as is) that when clicked displays what is eliminated and also what elements were selected (example, Fire - 0, Water - 2, Pure - 3 etc.) that would be swell.Computers are counted! Only user controlled should count.When an element turn begins, briefly announce who is voting.We got some weird text between Draft Pick being announced and Game Commencing text. It was like (I forgot and not in replay) TEXT () repeated over and over.As long as you're editing, can you change element selection time to 30 seconds before I forget . Thanks!
