    Ronalds

    There is no doubt that the current "Ronald System," is not up to par. The fact that Ronald never ends, is not popular among players. Additionally, there are a lot of glitches, such as Ronald Overflow and Ronald Lag. As a result, "Ronald System," is in need of redesign. There obviously needs to be a limit on Ronalds spawned. There also needs to be some change in how slows/stuns etc. affect them. My original idea was to make Ronald a boss. After the game ends, it spawns one giant Ronald. The problem, is that it would be unfair to splash towers. Another idea, would be to make Ronald like a hydra. You kill the giant, he splits into two smaller ones, you kill them, they each split into two more smaller ones. This could go on for an "appropriate," amount of time. Please feel free to brainstorm ideas.

    Tower Tweaks

    Here are some proposed tower tweaks. Feel free to suggest additions or subtractions. Please explain your reasoning as well. Sun Tower -Physical damage shockwave, damage increased so that it does not change in damage on VH difficulty. Flamethrower Tower -Add some special effect to attack. Perhaps something like heats up ground where it attacks and after enough time explodes or something. I like the idea behind the tower but rapid-fire splash is too dull (fire anyone) in my opinion. Enchantment Tower -Inner Fire should be kept. I'm not so sold on Faerie Fire though. Additionally, this tower could probably use one more ability to spice it up. Summoning Tower -Drakes should perhaps have some sort of AI to make it easier for players to control. Also, they should have some abilities on them. Example: Suicide Dive - Drake dives down and explodes into ground. Does some damage and some special effect. Flesh Golem Tower -Tweaking the way that "XP," is handled. Currently, it is only for organic units, and is based on units dying in 750 range of tower. Additionally, it is split among all Flesh Golem towers. I like the idea, not the implementation.

    Hero Mode

    I believe that to make it easy to balance, and fun to play, heroes should not have the ability to cause damage. Instead, they should all have unique abilities that disable, buff, debuff etc. Examples include: ability to teleport creep back to spawn, ability to stop time within a radius etc. That way, heroes would have to be used with some thought, as opposed to just spamming shit.

    All challenges must be played with the 3.0 version. They must be completed under normal game conditions. Very hard difficulty only. Compete against fellow players (on this forum) in trying to beat the game the fastest.

  14. The enthusiasm is appreciated. Development will start early next week. There is no set date for the start of Beta Testing, but I imagine it would begin the week after.

  17. There probably is now that I have a JASS coder at my disposal. But of course, that would be a nerf and it would then have to be rebalanced.
  18. I think those are a lost cause. Besides, there are brand new forums so it would be nice to start fresh on them.
  19. Sun tower is one of the more unique towers, and will probably not see a redesign. As a result, I am curious to see what people think of it in terms of balance.

  21. I don't think it is possible. These forums are phpbb while those were IBP. However, I will keep those forums alive so that you can transfer over important stuff.

    Hero Mode

    In my opinion, this mode causes more trouble then it is worth. It is not balanced in 3.0, and balancing it is a nightmare. Besides, none of the heroes really have any unique abilities. I propose to axe the mode completely. In its place, a new mode can be implemented.

    Chaos Mode

    Currently: Every level spawns a random assortment of creeps that are either one before the current level, at the current level, or one after the current level. Proposed: Each level is determined by random chance. The percentages would need to be worked out, but what armor and creep type you get would be completely up to chance. This would apply to the WHOLE level.
