  1. All damage in the game is affected by armor. Blacksmith does boost ability damage.
  2. One option is to make Tower Query consider the level of elements too. I think the best way would be for the name of the tower to simply change to match the highest level available. That way we don't have to add additional text to the display. It will be up to the player to know the difference between names, but I think that's a fair requirement.

  5. Gunpowder towers are broken how? Deaod has optimized the display of floating text so hopefully this will be a resolved issue in 4.2b.

  7. Yes, you need to have WC3 patch 1.24 or higher (currently at 1.24c). If this is a problem (i.e. you're stuck with 1.23) then your only option is 4.1.

    Yes, you must have the same WC3 version as the replay to watch it. If he is playing 4.2 then it must be the 1.24 series of patches. I think we are currently on c.

    It's possible the filename is Element_TD_4.2.w3x or something like that. The same map can be recognized as different thanks to that oversight by Blizzard.

    If you use greedisgood and are playing on random then you're going to crash for sure.

  18. Anyone else experiencing this problem? What amount of tower mass? What tower? We will work to resolve this for the inevitable "b" version. Deaod, can we remove the shadows? What else can we do?
  19. That should no longer be possible as of 4.2. If the host selects easy now, it becomes easy or higher.

  21. You're not alone in frustration...Blizzard released a new patch (1.24c) that wiped out the ability to watch replays from some recently finished big WC3 tournament (played in 1.24b of course). Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. ...There is a program that allows you to switch versions (EverCraft or something).
  22. You forgot that they are healing. Of course that means they are stronger than your calculations, and even more so if you use slow/splash.
