  2. Beta Testers will be testing the beta versions to report any bugs/balance issues that they find. Even without a lot of skill or deep knowledge, you could at least still bug test.

    Alright, I gave it some thought and I have a solution. I need a few things tested (MrChak can you do this?), and if they work then we are golden. The reason behind this is that I am temporarily on a computer without War3. Here is what I need tested: -If you use a passive ability to add HP, and then the Ele TD trigger that reduces HP based on difficulty kicks in, will it work like it should? -Is there a way to do healing without HP Regen? Can you do fountain of life for "Self," and will it only work for "Self?" Is there some other method (it needs to be % based), that works only for "Self?" If these two things work out, then here is what I propose: All creeps in the game will have 1 hp, instead of their normal HP in unit stats. The passive ability will add hp based on level. The healing will be taken care of by some % healing ability instead of HP/Regen in creep stats. By doing this, we can then make chaos a very interesting mode! The creep order will be completely randomized, the creeps themselves will remain unchanged. You might get a 75 hp doom guard level 1, or a 665975 hp timber wolf level 60. It would be determined at the start, so -fast, -earth etc. would still work. This way, every game is different . Thoughts? Someone please test .

    For a list of approved abilities, go to the "Potential Tower Abilities," thread in this section. I like the image idea, consider it approved. What have you in mind with the "Custom Unit ID," and the "Ethereal?"

    I'd prefer you not pursuing that idea. Right now I want to focus on getting the map converted, and all the spells coded. Perhaps down the line, this could be done.

  9. I already have a custom builder. You and MrChak will get one as well. I would like there to be a spell on the custom builders that has only one purpose, to look cool. You click it, it does some flashy special effects for a few seconds. In-game models only please.

  11. There is no required time. All you need is a good understanding of the game.
  12. Back on-topic, there are some delays and such. First, the coder is quite busy this week. Second, there is a shortage of ideas brainstormed. Not a guarantee, but something should be ready to beta test in a few weeks at most.

    There is a balance problem present here in my opinion. When you upgrade these towers, all you get is AoE increase and damage increase. The slow stays at a steady 25%, unlike essentially all other towers where the ability improves. Is this a balance problem? Does something need to be done to make this tower worth upgrading? Discuss

    As taken from suggestions forum: I think it could make for an interesting spin. We have single target disables, single target slows (perhaps...), and AoE slows. The game has not a single AoE disable at the moment. Perhaps, this could be it? Thoughts?
  16. I wouldn't worry too much about the elements right now. When the time comes where we have all the abilities brainstormed, we can figure out where to place this. As for it being worse then a stun, I don't agree. The point you brought up about it warping is legitimate. But, it does not work like a normal stun. Say that we stun a creep for X seconds, the towers that are in range of it get to attack it for the duration. Now suppose we warp a creep back after X seconds. It continues moving so more/different towers get to attack it. But then, it warps back giving everything a second chance to kill it. It really depends on the build and positioning of towers, it could be slightly worse, equal, or better. One thing is for sure though, it is a lot cooler than bash.
  17. Currently, there is going to be this tower in the game: Reapers Scythe: A tower that deals more damage if the current hp% is weaker. I was reading through the brainstorm thread, and Scousin proposed a tower that made me think of something: Unknown Name: A tower that deals more damage if the current hp% is higher. This new tower would be cool for a couple of reasons. First, it would be strategic in how you place and use it. It is obviously the tower that should be getting first hits. Second, it synergies really well with the other tower. One tower weakens them, the other finishes them. What do you guys think?
  18. There have been some great ideas in this thread, some which are going to be making it into the game . I'm still in need of more ideas though, so please continue brainstorming! Remember, there is no limitation on where you get your ideas from, nor on what they can be. Also, please DO NOT respond to posts in this thread. All it should be is a list of potential ideas. If you want to discuss something, simply make a new thread about it.
  19. I believe this is a dead horse. That would overly complicate the game in my opinion. Having 12 good and 3 bad builds is damn good performance. Especially, when "bad," will simply mean not the best option in competitive play. Take DotA, majority of heroes do not see competitive play.
  20. Splash only increases for only two towers I believe, those being Ice and Glacier (which is getting redesigned). All other towers have constant splash.
