Could someone create a tool (perhaps in excel) that maps this out the way holepercent has listed. I mean you input the elemental damage type for each tower, and it outputs the elemental damage types available for each build and from which towers. I'd like to test making Poison > Darkness, Kindle > Water, and Magic > Fire.

Quite simply there is a WC3 bug that prevents elementals from having hotkeys. Units added to a structure to be sold via triggers cannot be hotkeyed...

Replay is only good if the person viewing has the map. This won't be the case so I need some sort of universal media aka screenshots or video.

Just wanted to drop in and say that I've taken note of your tower analysis in previous beta versions. I'd say I look forward to an updated one for 15b, but it seems we are doing this on IRC.

I would like to explore alleviating this issue, as there are a couple of forums I could visit for help. If someone could provide some screenshots of the problem, or even better a short video clip, that would be great.

This has been on-going since the early days but I don't know how to fix it. Their collision size is already 0...

I tested the damage an amplified nature tower did over a 30 second period at location 5. I also tested it in combination with Nova tower. Now we all know that DPS for the nature tower will be constant, but the average dps and total damage it does over the period increase because of extra shots. I found the following: 30 Seconds @ 5: Nature Alone: 295 DPS, 8853 Damage Nova Alone: 3425 DPS, 102773 Damage Combined: 3808 DPS, 114256 Damage Difference: 88 DPS, 2630 Damage Roughly a 30% increase in damage output. Now only one trial was used but 30% damage output increase is more in the margin of error of 10% (what is expected) than something significantly less (if jolin012's theory was correct). They shouldn't be moving any slower than in the PB, as no changes were made to minimum movement speed since then. Can you use a duplicate build (between PB and B15b) and confirm/deny this? As for the profile thing, you can do that because you are a beta tester. If a normal user were to try and do the same thing it would bring them to some error page.

There would be coding for team selection, creep bounty, element distribution etc.. Also note that all 8 players are already allied, and far as I know there is no solution to prevent cluttered chatter (except changing forces in game settings but that affects the entire game, not just the mode...).

A few things regarding Ronald have changed since the 4.0 PB so I suspect this problem has been fixed in the private beta cycle.

I'm glad to see this idea again. The points brought up are quite valid, and if we can organize regular meetings our productivity will increase substantially. So perhaps everyone should start off by posting a few time periods (including zone of course) that they would normally be free in. US Central Time Zone: Day M+W: 11:00AM - 1:00PM F: 11:00AM - 1:30PM T+TH: 12:00PM - 3:00PM I can also come on during the evening/night sometimes, although not so much on the weekends.

I should note that we are in the "polish" phase of the beta cycle (i.e. no new content, just tweaks and such to prepare for release). As Cisz hinted at we don't know when it will be ready, but I will say that relatively (considering when 4.0 PB came out) we are close to done.

I am happy to bump this thread. Check out the new Flesh Golem in B15b. I have modified the poll to allow for re-voting, as I'm curious to hear what you guys think about this reworking.

Indeed I know what changed caused this bug. Unfortunately though, I made this change in an effort to eliminate the horrible lag some experienced with Undead. The new process is much more optimized and so I am hoping it prevents this lag (and thus makes the map playable for more people). I did make a few optimizations in 15b, I wonder if they by chance fixed this bug. I may also try a few things, and worse comes to worse use a workaround like checking order upon being attacked. I should also note that a lot of code optimizations have been done actually, and I expect it will be a significant factor in 4.0 surpassing PB. Personally I've noticed an improvement in performance and I anticipate those who chose not to play PB because of performance issues will now come aboard.

A lot of time has passed, let's get back to this so we can finish up 4.0. I'd like us to start scrutinizing balance more. I know everyone is busy with school, so it is best to make sure we stay focused. Of course continue to report bugs and other general suggestions (cosmetic for instance) as they come up. The main point is that new content is virtually finished (only race mode is left), and so the more we focus on polish the sooner we can release 4.0 publicly.

I have confirmed this is not the case. A sorcery tower with ability and Fire Up 3 buff gets +7500 which means they are not stacking.

No, that is from 3.0. The 4.0 PB Periodic does not change forms...
