  1. First we should implement team mode First impression: Interesting idea, I like it although I've got some doubts. Your mode has got the same issue as the Super Weapons Mode. Usually I don't have the time to mirco my towers, makro my base and then I should additionally micro my hero and defend my base!? Sounds very stressful...

  3. Looks like you forgot to calculate with pures and inersts. I've written a small Ruby script that calculates all possible combinations for me but there are very very many ways to pick. After level 40 389970 ways to pick. (Not different possibilities but ways to pick. DEL and DLE and EDL are different ways to pick.) Time to come to my numbers (witch say something quite interresing^^) First 25/40 (in 25 could be the first Tier2; in 40 could be the first Tier3) That means 11% of the games will end in a 11223$$ (= 5-Element game) game. And that could be true $$ is really often imho. Edit: Ok I guess I know how to reproduce the bug: If I open more than one thread in tabs some of the last tabs are not marked as read. That's very ugly - I always open all new posts in tabs
  6. First I think the status is not very relevant because it is only over a time. With my "solution" the status would be included btw. But there is another problem: What to do about the attack speed. Water damage for example will be always very small

    Problem: Mana AoE towers... And hm.. would make some things easier but some other more difficult. (A simple two pass would require micro but the first pass wouldn't anymore) I don't care but I doubt I would use it.
  9. Well I would have an idea but Karawasa would hate me for that, cause I mess up everything. Instead of saving the damage of towers in some Jass constants, save the spell damage in the attack power. For example the Voodoo-Tower (has got 1 damage at the moment) gets 1000 attack damage and a jass trigger that prevents dealing it if the tower attacks but triggers the spell witch uses the attack damage value. To make confusion perfect, here a small pseudo code piece: ---- Unit Voodoo-Tower attacks ---- ---- stop_attack( get_triggering_unit( ) ) new_super_cool_voodoo_effect( ... ) deal_damage_in_radius( get_actual_attack_strength( get_triggering_unit( ) ) ) destroy_super_cool_voodoo_effect( ... ) That would simplify the Backsmish-Towers powerup and the Well-Towers speedup. And to calculate the damage type percents simply add all attacks...

  16. Three small bugs in all old posts: The yellow one isn't really a bug just a notice: In this forums you mustn't write a " in the quote-tag. The red one is strange. After every old quote is a random string. The blue one could be dangerous. The text between the < and > is not shown. Maybe the < and > are not masked! That would be very dangerous. And please, please add a new posts sign at the forums index.

    Apropros dates: To keep dead threads dead you (Karawasa) could activate auto-closing after 30 days no post. But the creator should be able to wake the thread up again - but nobody else.
  18. I guess you play Element TD Public Beta. Afaik Karawasa fixed some performance issues in Private Betas. Turning off effects is an interesting solution but it is lots of work. (Maybe for 4.1 ) We'll see what Kara says. And could you provide detail information about that laptops please?

  20. Afaik this is related to diablo. The Diablo community is at the moment very excited because the last mass ban killed *all* players that used a hack that was tolerated before. I suggest to be very very careful, they don't joke.

    I vote for 1 area per element too. (And maybe one undead and composite *g*) Well that's also okay...Instead trees we could use bush and flowers. (Nature isn't a evil element, it is good and happy )
  23. Percent based damage is impossible to ballance in tower defense like Element TD. It will be too strong in the beginning and too weak at the end.
