  1. Seems like it's one of those rare, not exactly reproducable, stop attack bugs.. happened to many players once in a very long while. normally the solution is to target something with the tower. if not, just sell it (in random)..

  3. The replay can be attached directly to your post.. Life tower can be strong but it is slow in VH.. in a fast game, the player would get flooded and rushed out of game..
  4. need a new mode to cater to all levels of players, from beginners to experts.. preferably team mode.. the community has been pushing for co-op play.. time to revive the discussion.. draft pick was added as a new mode but that is more for full competitive play or at least semi-experienced players.. or a more active community.. the tournament forum draft series is creating some action at least.. also at our level, the only real competition is playing inhouse against fellow leads.. very very few public players can hold their game against us in all -vhsr.. mixed diff could be an option but ve against vh isn't really a balanced match.. either that or do some really intensive replay pack like completing all 22 4/5/6-ele builds... similar to build project/series. or be removed from the pool.. kara's original plan was to release a new version ever so often.. not exactly happening at the moment... at least for the non beta-testing public. no one outside of beta testing really knows what's going on.. planning for JETD and retail...
  5. there is speed boost already.. and there are changes implemented to make ronalds harder for next version.. currently in private beta..
  6. after you finish the game, exit mission, get to the screen with the scores, at the bottom there is a button labelled "save replay'. click it and type a filename. then, edit your post, click the browse button, find the replay with the filename you saved earlier then attach it to your post here using the attachment feature.

    "!" is up for removal.. "?" is to tell yourself and others that you are on random mode.. especially in games of pick and some (but not all) players -random..

    test if you can actually build there. shouldn't be able to actually build a tower there. it shows up as buildable when your cursor hovers over the area but your builder would be stopped before reaching that spot and thus not be able to actually build there. UPDATE: tested as player 3 and 6. While the area shows as buildable, when the builder tries to get there, it is stopped and "unable to build there".

    referring to the area for "?" (random) and "!" (extreme)? or behind the summoning centre? those areas are supposed to be unbuildable.. screenshot please. it may show up as buildable but your builder should be stopped from reaching those areas.

  11. The build is slower and trying to abuse life towers against a experienced player would fail.. just ask kara himself..

    Some tower spells/abilities may be too long to fit into a few words.. and besides, too much content can confuse players too.. there isn't much time to read stuff while in play. ice tower.. it's true that in most TDs, the ice tower is a slow tower.. well.. it used to be a slowing tower but not anymore.. maybe time to look through all the towers that have changed and whether the names fit.. most of the time, tower query is to check what towers you can build with the elements available or the elements that make up a certain tower that you want to build.

    Blacksmith and well buffs stack with the bonus/ability damage of all damage towers.
  14. It is very strong for early game rushing but after that, it's close to useless. but yes, it is up for redesign..
  15. Makes obtaining a noleak replay 'easier'. don't need to restart the game when you leak (the game ends automatically)..
  16. for a 4/5-element build, use draft pick to remove the towers not available, draft the correct elementals and -random.. 100% sell pick mode. for single player or arranged multiplayer

  19. this results in the hp being too large and causes game crashes / other bugs at some point.. it was in some of the betas where ronald always resulted in game crash at 300..
  20. Random is more about surviving against other players than the map and making the best use of whatever comes out. eletd is survivor after all, which is more for multiplayer.

  22. +speed or +armour all have the ways to counter. but noleak would be the real extreme. make noleak replays 'easier' to get as the player doens't need to restart if there are leaks when trying to get a noleak replay. the game ends itself. (burb td had that one too. the noleak mode. leak one and gg)

    Implement a psudo-random system. every X attacks it triggers once. so for the first set it triggers on the first attack, the next set on the third attack etc. so over the X attacks it is guaranteed to trigger once (and not more or less). it's too random in sometimes triggering every attack and not triggering at all the entire wave.. and adjust quaker to the same thing as well...
  25. during the 30sec for elemental (no elemental/creeps in play), build 10 tier2 quark towers at VII. the texttag shows 140 dmg when the wave enters.
