I like it. How about a total divisor instead of the way you do it? Basically it would be (2000+2000)/1.25 and then the result of that +2000 and the total divided by 1.25 and so forth for each link. So, 1 - 2000 2 - 3200 (4000/1.25) 3 - 4160 (5200/1.25) 4 - 4928 (6160/1.25) 5 - 5542 (6928/1.25) I also don't think we need the "out of range" part. With the diminishing returns of linking, it only pays to have a certain number in each area. Thoughts everyone?

I propose; Dual: 1-3 players = no repeat, 4-6 players = 1 repeat, 7-8 players = 2 repeat Triple: 1-2 players = no repeat, 3-5 players = 1 repeat, 6-8 players = 2 repeat Other then that, looks good!

I've given it some thought, and I think there is a solution. Here is how it would work; 1. The mazes are shared, but there is one for each player. Say the game is 2v2. Then each team would have two areas to look after. 2. You can move freely and build freely in areas that are controlled by your team. Perhaps a blink type spell can accomplish this. 3. All gold is shared evenly amongst your team. 4. Lumber is not shared, i.e. what you can build is specific to you and you alone. I imagine it would work the same as default mode. 5. The areas work like normal. If a creep leaks it just loops back to the same area. 6. The lives are shared as well. If a creep leaks in any area under the team's control, they lose a life. 7. If someone leaves his gold is shared with team, and the area corresponding to his start location is shut off. Here are some common problems solved; 1. Stuffed space by having to share one area. 2. Not fun by having to share gold. 3. Too impractical to make by having a different layout. Thoughts?

Ok, we have escaped WC3.

One of the last changes (4.3) of WC3 was the bounty balance. Basically, the gold base used in calculation of bounty is lower for lower difficulties. To put it in perspective, the total gold received from bounty on VH is about 90,000 while VE is now 60,000. Thoughts?
