  1. It is a post about his replay, why do you all have to be so stubborn.....

    Also here is a replay of my attempt which I hopefully can be an example of how a replay should be posted and with a better name (although it was the first element td game for me for like YEARS I know we changed some prices and elements around, but I never played enough to actually see that we had mirage levels....)

  2. I think I brought this issue up some time a long time ago. It's pretty hard to do any real ronald records "now".

    To be honest I haven't played this for years, I have just still been around lurking. (and I want to have my custom model with my name username... only that karawasa lost the unlocked element td version)


  3. Imo Element TD could easy be on the top of the list. Also they are still evolving and changing things (now you can sort by "tug o war" and "tower defence") And I am sure it will work out good/better.

    I guess the biggest problem now is for players who wants to play very hard or very easy only. Since that kind of stuff is not fixed yet (but I have seen some sketches on it, just pray that it will be implented)


  4. On which region do you both play? Since HowardMoon clearly seems to think that he is better then everyone else. What would be better then a standard Element TD duel!

    Good work virusblastone, but it is easier to just attach the replay to the forum that way everyone can see how you did it and that you did not use any cheats.


  5. I don't see any similarity's with gunpowder :o?

    Seems like an excellent tower to kill elements (which I think is a good thing. Need more of those) But overall a bad tower and I think it has to much similarity's with the impulse tower. Might not be, but I think it will be used the same way, just target the creep that is just inside the range of the tower so you will deal full damage without losing to overkill.

    It feels like it will be different when maxing depending on high damage it got.


  6. Damage is based of the number of creeps and the placement of the creep it fires.

    The more creeps there is the more damage it deals at the start, while the less creeps there is the more damage it deals if a creep is nearby the end.

    What about that? Original idea? Not practical enough? Good/bad idea?


  7. Ok,

    • It increases the damage of the target it boots by it's ordinary damage/2.
    • This effect can be chained to the next tower.
    • The effect only occurs when the original tower is out of range.

    Lets say we got 3 towers

    each of them dealing "2000" damage, the towers are far spread.

    The first tower shoots at a creep, the third tower is out of range to charge the first tower but in range of the second tower.

    The second tower is in range of the first tower and charges it, but before this the third tower charges the second one to "2000+2000/2=3000"damage.

    The second tower the charges the first tower to "2000+3000/2=3500" damage.

    How does this sound?


  8. How about a semi-shared goldpool. Where the killer gets 50% of the gold and the rest is split 50% (if there are 2 players the killer would get 50%+25%)

    I got a feeling some players would just mass interest then leaving one of the players alone.


  9. I agree with dvdlesher, we need more units to act as tower models. It's kind of dull to have only buildings when we can use some of the units.

    *Artifact should be periodic tower of the elements :P


  10. -One way could be to prevent a lower diff player from finishing the wave. So the first player playing on the highest diff of the match finishing spawns the next wave. (Example: Players are playing on ve, ve, e, e, nm, nm, vh, vh. Only the 2 players on vh have the ability to start the next wave. If they both die, the right to start a wave early is handed down to the players on nm, and so on.) This could also be changed to "the players of the highest 2 difficulties" (vh and nm in my example), or even to "the players of highest diff or one diff below that" (only the guys on vh in my example, because they are two diffs ahead of the others).

    Hey, that's a great idea. But maybe normal and hard should have a slight influence over the timer, while very easy and easy doesn't.


  11. Hm, I didn't really agree with some of them. I would want more synergy between the models. Like all spellcasters tier 2, all battlecruisers tier 3. (instead of having a battlecruiser tier 2 and then suddenly another battlecruiser arrives that is tier 3 and waaay harder to kill.

    Here are som proposed changes:

    Swap the plasma battlecruiser (tier 2 water) with tassadar.

    Swap tassadar with a high templar or an archon (already used model in normal weak creepwave)

    [Alternate just swap the 2 (battlecruiser and tassadar) and make the first water level another model]

    At first I thought we would remove the nydus worm, but it looked quite cool when it moved. Also here swap the nydus worm (tier 2 earth) with the science vessel (tier 3 earth)

    Wasn't to much changes as I thought when I looked through a second time :P
