First completed (almost no-leak) replay submitted already.. players are playing by different strategies.. this draft features choice not seen in #2..

that is way too strong. built at / VIII VII especially, every creep or at least 75% of wave will be hit.. tower can be massed to basically destroy everything at creep entrance with no micro.. even with say slow bounce speed and really long cooldown.. doesn't add much strategy.. bouncing damage exists in electricity.. besides, we already have a full set of working towers in the private betas.. for your info if you don't know, some towers have been changed totally since pb.. karawasa has more or less put an end to new content unless it is really significantly better and easy to implement and all beta leaders must be in agreement..

Draft isn't designed to be easy.. with the tower and elements restrictions.. and yes.. quite a number of towers have changed.. other tower changes include new disease, jinx, ice, golem, quark and (...) since 4.0pb at least.. much has changed.. we nearly have a set of fully working towers now.. no more 'useless' towers now..

Time taken is until victory message appears. This excludes the ronald hunt. Best build design will have 2 points subtracted from the replay's total score. best build design will be picked by me. ( as per draft traditions where best build design is picked by host). This condition may not be used if there is a clear winner.

And do remember even if all 6 elements are drafted, periodics are removed from the pool by draft host (this is in the opening ruleset).

You can pick higher tiers without needing the lower tiers to be drafted first. No repeats. Tier3s and tier2s usually make good choices for the first few picks. Remember, some diplomacy is part of the draft. Are there any element towers that need power up/balancing?

from build project earth needs a buff darkness a slight buff. fire feels like it needs a slight buff. water and light balanced. nature feels balanced. in random mode, refined elements have their uses.. elemental arrows and cannons are early game towers.. Making elements minus pures sell 100% would actually allow more sell and rebuild interest farming in midgame.. like they can be built to cover a defence's weakness and sold after that wave, where using a few focused or refined is stronger than spamming elemental arrows or cannons.. usually also the refined element tower is built a few waves before pures.. which if they can be sold without penalty is interest farming.. the interest here can be quite significant.. -
Other trickery bugs to point out.. mirage tower generates 15sec clones.. i mentioned this before and it occurred again. Seems like this bug only affects me... or no one has realised it yet? eletd_beta_trickery bug.w3g

Pure earth is on the weak side... pure light or water is more or less the 'standard' .. pure earth and pure dark probably a damage buff. although in my early build project, i actually used pure dark for a few replays.. then pure light.. before putting the splash pures into play.

UPDATE: i'm returned from vacation.. so set the date and time and hopefully i can make it (mainly due to timezones).. like sat/sun 2hrs before my usual 'out for the night'.. then i sort of make my point then the discussion continues from there..
