  1. There is also a "Black Pearl," skin implemented that you can use instead of the default. Just go to "Profile," and then "Board Preferences." You can of course also use the default phpBB skin too. I plan on implementing more skins in the future.

  7. That is only the case because we did the extensive retriggering. Also, no towers ignore armor anymore.

    I have updated everything except the dual and triple tower pages. I'm hoping to finish them by the end of the weekend.

  11. @Shadowplay: Your method does not work in ETD because players can have varying difficulties amongst each other.

    Slow Towers in 4.0

    The damage output for both Nova and Storm (Windstorm) has actually increased. For instance, Nova used to do 1000 spell damage every 5 seconds, but now it does 750 physical damage every 1.5 seconds.

    I can come online sometime as a dummy account to help you guys get it started. Once you have the clan formed, it should be easier to get people. I'd also advise getting a bot for the clan channel, it really helps out in a lot of ways.
  15. Yes, that is exactly what it means. Combined with the fact that ALL spell damage was converted over to physical damage (affected by both armor amount and type), armor overall now has a more significant role in the game. In addition to that, creep maximum HP was increased as well. It went from a level factor of 1.166 (meaning that level 2 has 1.166x the HP of level 1 etc.) to a level factor of 1.17. These changes make the game significantly harder, especially on H and VH. This is exactly what I was trying to achieve, because it adds a significant amount of replay value and competition to the game.
  16. No worries, I was thinking that was the case. As for the general topic, I agree that there is no way to prove that a map is official short of having the author himself say it is. That is the way it should be though. Had MrChak not been apart of the development of 3.0 (and now 4.0) I could not have claimed these to be official versions. I had his blessing (both directly and indirectly, being that 2.0 was open source) but in my opinion that does not constitute enough to make it "official." Why? With only his permission to edit the map, I could have changed it to something that he did not approve of (or want to play). In such a scenario, I would say a map is not official because it does not stay true to the vision of the creator. This is a crucial point in my opinion, and that is why I took great satisfaction when MrChak not only approved of 3.0, but also ended up playing it for his own ETD needs. This point is more important than ever with 4.0. With 3.0 it was fairly easy, I was just aiming to polish the game more (although there was some new content). With 4.0 however, I've gone way beyond simply polish, I've attempted (and hopefully am succeeding) to take the game to a new level. MrChak has been involved throughout the process of developing 4.0. This has not only proved invaluable for the contributions alone, but also because it helps ensure that the game stays true to its nature.

    I need to put you in contact with MagicalHacker. The main thing to be accomplished at this point is to code and implement some sort of ladder functionality. The secondary objective would be to double check code for optimization.

  21. Should be fixed. You can now random in short mode, and cannot instantly get level 2 and 3 summons.
