  1. hm, would most likely make the tower even more random but perhaps it can be tried out if the current replacement of the tower fails.
    Hm i think you are misunderstandig. I mean: Every fly makes AoE damage. (128 = length of a tower). But maybe I am misunderstanding you. :wink:

    How about this: Let the tower deal damage.

    As it is now, it barely does, so maybe it would be actually good if it would have damage > none. :)

  2. I don't have this bug. (Using the standart style).

    But as Kirby said, look into the replays forum. I needed a long time to find it.

    You must not use the "Back <-" Button, if you do, the Index page(s) won't be reloaded and you see the "New post icon" again (AFAIK until you press F5).


  3. the quakers seem a bit isolated.. maybe the nova could be placed at VII. it hits all around VII as well as supporting the quaker. Also, it can deal the last bit of damage to leaks right of VII or / .. Enchantment is not really built that early in the game.. and no voodoo tower?

    Totally forgot Voodoo. But I use it in EDWFN... (after lots and lots of clicks at the book i know the first two elements... lol) But you are right Voodoo is nice (BTW: witch damage type makes the extra damage?)!

    Nova at 7 sounds interresting but then it won't suppord the main slowing that much. (Maybe I'm wrong). I miss in EleTD a feature that shows me the range of towers :)

    from my build project experience the easiest 5-ele build is WDNEF. the one with no light. my build order went something like roots muck zealot corrosion quaker voodoo. well smith added in somewhere.. flame towers at the short pass placement. i started with upgrade to hydrochloric to clear wave 45..

    Lol forgot another tower too... didn't think of flame. I'll try. After 50 tha game is easy. Atm the most problems make the 4x... In my last try only 10 leaks but around 5 of them were because I was stupid :roll:


  4. I noticed (again) that lots of poeple don't know that they can watch replays in a window.

    Simply start the Frozen Throne.exe with the -window parameter.

    The most easy way to do this in Windows is write a small *.bat file. Maybe you have to change the path. (Tested, should work.) Filename must be something.bat not .bat.txt!

  5. Interresting idea, I like it.

    But I'm not sure if every creep becomes a corpse if it dies. For example: Goblin Shreeders, Wisps, that ugly guys in 45... And what happens with the corpse of elements?

    It would power up AOE-Slowing, afaik Karawasa is looking for a tower that powers up single target. Isn't he?

    Thats my first no leak replay. I used the most easy and boring 6 element build. (Periodic owns them all).

    Leaks: 0 :D

    Very close: two or three

    Ronalds: ~86

    Modes: Very Hard, All Pick, Short Mode

    Networth: I think something around 70-80k

    I didn't inerst abuse. (I've to learn that)

    So some advice needed and tell me: What is the easiest 5 ele build I sould try no-leak next?

  7. A Conclution: I have found a way to make blacksmith and well work with all towers except those i think it should not work on.

    Disagree - the supporders shoult work with every tower.

    Hydro appears in the list for one reason. because it can be used as a slow, not any slow, but a very unique slow.

    As far as I know Hydro won't stack the creeps anymore in next beta.

    so instead of 3000/creephpafterattack=chance i sugguest (creephpbeforeattack-creephpafter)/creephpafter=chance.

    Let's say an enemy has got 10.000 HP (thats about level 33). A small calculation between old an new tower. (3000 Damage, Chance to kill 3000/....)

    For "normal" elements the tower is as effective as the old - for the good element it a bit overpowerd - for the bad element it is very weak but thats ok. Conclusion: Super idea, but it is very extreme (VERY good in 200% but very very bad in 50%).

    I really like most of you suggestions but as you said, it will be very difficult to implement.

    I have seen your replay, you play very... hmmm.... lots of panic. It's nice and fast but sometimes you don't know what you want to do. :P

    I am relaxed but sometimes I panic too. 8)

    Interresting picks at the moment. Nature is the missing one.

    Wather 3 - I never played it (I did in 3.0 but not in 4.0). In random a T3 element is rare.

    Muck 2 and Corrosion 2 would be nice, but at the moment i miss Roots ant Nova.

    I think I have found a small bug in the pick system. It is useless to say the tear of the choosen elements ;)
