    Life Tower

    I don't think life towers need a nerf. As already mentioned, Their damage is quite low. Frog hunting builds designed properly have far more than 2x the damage of life tower spam, so despite having lower lives to work with, they don't need them because higher hp frogs won't leak.
  2. They change targets when the creep runs out of range, otherwise they do exactly as you want. There's only 2 ways I can think of to improve their behaviour: 1) Put some kind of range check. If creep within 900 units, don't change target. The difficulty here is that it may take the creep 1 second to run back in range, or 20 seconds, depending on placement of the tower, positioning of the creep, and what slows you have in play. 2) Somehow determine the location of the creep and the tower, and make a decision based on the map. A tower in the center of the map won't change target if the creep is still moving around the center for example. I'm unsure how this would be implemented though.
  3. First life lost on wave 28. Survived until wave 33, 980 kill, frogs 313m hp. Edit: There's something strangely satisfying about spotting a quark 3 with 50 million damage (47 stacks) in a replay.
  4. I got to wave 26 but my dota client crashed. I'm quite confident I would have passed it.

  6. I think lightning towers don't scale well. lvl 2 or 3 should get more bounces or something. Compared to quark, and vaopr towers with supports, or life tower spamming, lightning and flame towers just seem really underwhelming. Death/decay towers seems a lot harder to use compared to quarks since you need some other towers to get creep hp to less than 1/2 for it to equal the dps of a quark tower with 0 hits (due to splash). Maxing dark and nature limits your selection of damage towers that you can use.
  7. Some builds I've toyed with have a large number of towers. Accurate Net worth can be used to measure how many additional towers Gold(Wealth) towers/interest/Mango Trade can earn you, compared to other builds. Mostly useful for frog hunting since you aren't limitted to a small canvas compared to rush mode entrance camping. I suppose the end result can help speak to it, but since the number is calculated somehow, it would be nice if it were accurate.
  8. Unless this is deliberate, towers placed have a value of 75% of their gold cost (the old resale value). 11 000 Gold in bank, 11k net worth. Buy a periodic tower (but not place it/under construction) --> 0 net worth. Place the tower, 8250 net worth. Sell the tower for 90% of its value, 9900 Net worth.
  9. While its a bit finicky, you can use Sandbox mode. Set wave to 1, gold to 250. You can set lumber/essence to default as well if you want. Spam stop/clear till things actually stop, then press the " spawn wave " button to start the game. The wave indicator might be mismatched but should adjust eventually. To enter sandbox mode, just start a game, and click the button/word "Sandbox" at the top near the game time/scoreboard. It doesn't get counted towards the EleTD leaderboard, but you can find the replays to watch if you need them in your dota profile.
  10. Hm, one wave behind you. I got to 222 frog kills on insane using a goofy build spamming quark 3.

  12. slows are multiplicative. 2 10% slows = 0.9 x 0.9 = .81 move speed, or 19% slow. A single 30% slow > 3 10% slows for this reason.

  14. Thanks for putting in the effort. It seems as though some of the values are off, however. Water towers, for example, can hit 3 creeps at a time (1x 100%, 2 x 50%) for 2x damage multiplier (or 2x 100% on inside corners), not the 1.5 listed on the sheet. Granted, things like creeps dying or range make it difficult to always hit max number of creeps for a given tower, but the sheet still lists damage output in mostly ideal scenarios for most towers. Unsure if the 1.5 for 100/200 aoe was intentionall or not.
