privatehuff Posted July 26, 2011 Specifically Barb and Muck. If a creep is hit by both, does it get 20%, 11%, or 10% slower ? Sorry if this is redundant but I really did try to search and check stickies etc =( Go to top Share this post Link to post
Karawasa Posted July 26, 2011 If creep is hit by both it gets 10% reduction then 10% of what is left. So 19% total. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Vyce663 Posted July 26, 2011 So to continue on what Karawasa said... A mob starting at 100% speed of course... Hit by 1 10% slow : Will be moving at 90% speed Hit by 2 10% slow : Will be moving at 81% speed Hit by 3 10% slow : Will be moving at 72.9% speed Hit by 4 10% slow : Will be moving at 65.61% speed Now we have 30% slows too... so heres all your combos you can slow for. Please remember that it matters what one hits first so i will calculate it as if the bigger slow hits first. 1 30% slow Hit by 0 10% slow and 1 30% slow : Will be moving at 70.00% speed Hit by 1 10% slow and 1 30% slow : Will be moving at 63.00% speed Hit by 2 10% slow and 1 30% slow : Will be moving at 56.70% speed Hit by 3 10% slow and 1 30% slow : Will be moving at 51.03% speed Hit by 4 10% slow and 1 30% slow : Will be moving at 45.92% speed 2 30% slows Hit by 0 10% slow and 2 30% slow : Will be moving at 49.00% speed Hit by 1 10% slow and 2 30% slow : Will be moving at 44.10% speed Hit by 2 10% slow and 2 30% slow : Will be moving at 39.69% speed Hit by 3 10% slow and 2 30% slow : Will be moving at 35.72% speed Hit by 4 10% slow and 2 30% slow : Will be moving at 32.14% speed 3 30% slows Hit by 0 10% slow and 3 30% slow : Will be moving at 34.30% speed Hit by 1 10% slow and 3 30% slow : Will be moving at 30.87% speed Hit by 2 10% slow and 3 30% slow : Will be moving at 27.78% speed Hit by 3 10% slow and 3 30% slow : Will be moving at 25.00% speed Hit by 4 10% slow and 3 30% slow : Will be moving at 22.50% speed 4 30% slows Hit by 0 10% slow and 4 30% slow : Will be moving at 24.01% speed Hit by 1 10% slow and 4 30% slow : Will be moving at 21.60% speed Hit by 2 10% slow and 4 30% slow : Will be moving at 19.44% speed Hit by 3 10% slow and 4 30% slow : Will be moving at 17.50% speed Hit by 4 10% slow and 4 30% slow : Will be moving at 15.75% speed Small chance i messed up so tell me if you notice one. holepercent Posted July 26, 2011 The maximum slow should be 66%. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Karawasa Posted July 26, 2011 The maximum slow should be 66%. This is true in WC3, but there is no bottom in SC2. Though, with the way slows work I wonder if it's even possible to get to this limit in the first place. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Chiquihuite Posted July 26, 2011 <Math> The 10% and 30% slows of each respective tower type are mutually exclusive. Additionally, the required elements are distributed in such a way that you can only ever achieve level 2 in the elements for 2 of the 4 towers at any given time. In other words, the maximum slow possible is 2x 30% + 2x 10%, which works out to around 60% movespeed reduction. Oh, and it doesn't matter which one hits first. The multiplicative reduction will be the same. Go to top Share this post Link to post

When we talk about 4 towers, we mean barb, muck, ion and the other one ? Multiple mucks, for example, won't stack will they ? Go to top Share this post Link to post
Chiquihuite Posted July 27, 2011 When we talk about 4 towers, we mean barb, muck, ion and the other one ? Multiple mucks, for example, won't stack will they ? No, slowing towers of the same triple element have mutually exclusive slows. Muck 1 will not stack with Muck 1. Muck 1 will not stack with Muck 2. Muck 1 will stack with Ion 1 OR 2, Barb 1 OR 2, and Nova 1 OR 2. Go to top Share this post Link to post
flyjum Posted July 28, 2011 I feel like slow is quite a bit weaker in sc2 then it was in wc3. Anyone think so? Go to top Share this post Link to post
