How to use IRC

I don't understand how to use the IRC channel.

(not only me, I've had several peoples asking me if I know how to use it.)

You need an irc client.

Mirc (not free), chatzilla or trillian (free), will do.

Google them, download one, read the manual.

They are differents possibilities if u don’t want a soft or client irc or make simple u cant do this

It s easy to come by u’re navigator or if u are internet explorer

If u re firefox it’s simple (for firefox on linux and win)

U need dl chatzilla addons for firefox here

Instal

Reboot firefox

put this adress on firefox

here we go, u re on the chan ^^

u must be change ure name (nickname)

ok u can talk with other ^^

If u re Opéra it’s the same but with the addons Icechat

This possibilities are simple

Now u can join irc with a irc client like Mirc

It’s a shareware but u can use it free

If u don’t register Mirc is not a prob because u can use free after

When u re this after delay of registration

U must be wait 10 second only and u can use free and clic here

for mirc or other client irc

or all soft who can join a server irc (trillian/emule/msn/ect…) if must know thisand u can connect easy

Yes. But I can't seem to be able to install the active X script.

You shouldn't have to. If you have Firefox, it automatically comes with ChatZilla, and IRC client. It can be found under Tools, and will allow you to chat with us.

u double clic on mirc.exe

u accept the connection on u re firewall for mirc

on mirc a window come for register

u clic on "continue" two times it s not an obligation to register

I can't exept the java thats the problem.

This is what happens,

The computor is protected by a activex-script from this website, press if you want alternatives.

Then I press install, then it says that it has been inaktivated and you need to activate it.

Then I try to find the inaktivated script, but I can only find mass activated so I can't aktivate it.

Well I fixed this by myself, I taught about it several times.

But I youst have to install Java script.

Wy didn't anybody tell me to do this?

I tought all thoose programs were youst other stuff for the activeX-script.

I regulated a mirc so that with launching it conecte directly with the chan element td ^^

just to decompress the file , execute mirc.exe and to authorize mirc in your firewall if you have one of them
