It's not actually cyan either, it has far too much red in it. Cyan's got no red by definition. The closest I can figure, it's a less red emerald or a less blue turquoise. Since teal is just a dark cyan, I don't think it really matters either.

Is it so hard for people to screenshot WC3, use a color finder and look through a big list of colors to get an approximation?

I just had to get that out.

(also teal is a more commonly known color, and cyan is harder to type)

And when your editing a map it also say: player 3 (teal)

So its not cyan in Wc3.

Yea, it's blizzard's fault. Though the color might technically be cyan, according to Blizzard it's Teal. My advice would be to get over it, because people are not going to stop calling them "Teal". Sorry!

Well I found this, and your right it should be cyan.

But I couldn't find any teal, so maybe they are the same?

The fact is, they just pulled a color out of there ass and named it something somewhat common.

the only time that the colour really matters is when the host wants to kick someone or for games with host kick commands... i've even had players calling player 3 light blue/turquoise(or whatever way that's spelt) ...
