I read this while playing with alguemx. Thought it would happen to me too, but no... got to wave 61 just fine.

I had a (somewhat) similair case on wave 16 where one of the dark immortals got 'stuck' on the exit portal and did not continue untill I built a tower nearby to shoot it.

Yeah this is what happened, and I didn't even notice until I watched the replay... looks like 3 lurkers all tried to get through the exit at the same time and got stuck.
