[Beta 12] Flesh golems

This tower seemed to be a bit buggy for now.

And it didn't look that good... (ability)

At first I had 1 uppgraded flesh golem, and 1 level 1.

Tried to link level 1 to the uppgraded, that didn't work. Maybe that was supposed to...

So I builded another flesh golem level 1 it did not work either with the other flesh golem...

But when I uppgraded so I had 3 uppgraded golems, and make 2 of them nods it worked..

I builded 3 new flesh golems, and then they worked.

But if I had 1 golem link, and 2 attacks. It did not work.

Only 1 attack golem did get link so I don't se wy you should link them at all...

Please explain to reveal the fog.

Pretty much ditto from my runs with it this morning. Not sure I understnad exactly how these are supposed to work.

The link ones can only link up every half second, so they pretty much can only affect one golem constantly, or switch off between multiple ones. You usually want the former due to the multiplicative effect of more links. Get enough and the golem can basically one-shot anything.

Also, found a little bug of my own related to it. If you upgrade a link flesh golem to an abomination, it comes out as an attacker, but its ability is still switch to normal mode. If you click it (I thought it would fix it by having it change from normal to... normal) it switches to link mode, and the ability will be the switch to link mode one. I'd say have the ability go back to switch to link mode when you upgrade, or have it conserve which form it was in when upgrading.

So... Basically this tower only links with other "flesh golem" tower..? Kinda confused when reading the tooltips

Here is the tooltip:

Transforms this golem into a link node. A link node will power up an attack every 0.5 seconds. Bonus damage added is equal to 2000, half of the 4000 base damage. Link nodes can be drawn upon from up to 700 range away. Bonus is exponential in growth based on number of links drawn from. 

Damage done is equal to Base + Bonus*#*1.05^#

What parts are confusing? Anyone want to revise the tooltip?

well it is a confusing concept to explain, really :lol:

if you get it you get it, but if you don't get it...

I guess the basic concept is simple, but to explain the details such as range, damage, etc in a succinct way, is rather ugly.

let me try my hand at it:

Transforms this golem into a link node that boosts other flesh golem towers in a range of 700. Each link node will boost one attack every 0.5 seconds.

Bonus damage is 2000 for one link node and increases exponentially as more link nodes are added. (Base damage is 4000)

Damage done is equal to Base + Bonus*#*1.05^#

hm. I couldn't get the base damage of 4000 to work in there in a good way.
