Guest dyehardz Posted April 9, 2008 if you want to create pure element tower, you have to build it from normal, amplified, lv2, lv3, then pure. why don't you make the same way with periodic tower? imo this is for balancing purpose and to 'bash' that 'interest-bastard-player' (sell towers just for interest, then rebuild) in random game. if this possible, my suggestion for periodic tower : - if you have 2 elements, you can build normal periodic - if you have 3 elements, you can upgrade to amplified p. - if you have 4 elements, you can upgrade to lv2 periodic - if you have 5 elements, you can upgrade to lv3 periodic - if you have all elements, you can upgrade to pure periodic what's your opinion? I think periodic tower quite equal to pure towers. while other powerful tower needs many steps to build, why periodic tower (which also powerful) can be build only using 1 step? holepercent Posted April 11, 2008 first, periodic requires 6 lumber to be spent in getting all 6 elements (or luck in getting randomed all 6 elements) and essence. a normal pure requires 3 picks ( or luck to random lvl1, lvl2 and lvl3 of an element) and an essence. 2 essences are given for free. Periodic already has more requirements before it can be build as compared to a normal pure. as jolin mentioned, the periodic build features other towers. normal pures make use of fewer towers usually. and selling for interest in random is part of the game for pros. periodic would be nerfed to make it less game-breaking and more balanced. i don't see a good reason to implement this suggestion.
