It would give me a chance to play people (probably) better than myself right now which should help me get better, and it would make locating a decent opponent a lot easier than it is now, I would think. One of the problems I have with my games on battle.net right now is finding someone worth playing with/against regularly. At least this way if I start a game, I don't have to worry about 7 DotA specialists that don't even have the ETD 3.0 map (soon to be 4.0 I hope) joining my game. In theory.
