Can't View Replays! Need Help

guys i've tried to DL several replays from this forum

to be exact i tried to download replays for EleTD 4.0

i have it on my FT expansion why does it still says "This Data for replay is for other version of Warcraft III" ? how come?...i can play eleTD 4.0 on my FT

is there any other version of warcraft III FT??

please i need help so i ca view all the replays..thanks...

There are loads of different versions of tft. Most people on the forums play on the battle.net, so we get automatically upgraded, and we are at the 1.22a right now. But some replays here are for 1.20e or 1.21.

Start your game and take a look at the first menu screen. Down in the lower right corner should be a number, and that should be your version number. The last version has a very detailed code here (1.22.0.6328 for me), for all older versions you will find something like "1.12".

Before upgrading, you should ask yourself: Where will I play tft? If you are using some unofficial server, you may want to stay on the version they are using.

from 15 kills..however i still hadsome leaks on the previous Wave...

ask them if they played on very hard

cause people can get a LOT ronalds on very easy (over 2k)

I think your nova placement is not optimal. Same goes for you quaker.

hmmm do you think i need to place the quakers

beside nova? and also getting those Voljin(sorry forgot the name)towers

and upgrading to earthShakers is a good idea?

haha i sacrificed the chance of getting monsoon tower and stick TO wisdom since the upgraded muck and roots both have 30% slow...

hmmm i've tried all the possible ways to stay alive but still i cant GET even 500 kills haha

so it seems 800 will be impossible

You went light level 1, I would suggest dark level 1 instead. (L2, D1, W2, F2, N2, E2.) You would get monsoon and supernova instead of thorns and mire. If you have maxed slow, you won't need earthshaker. I gave you that replay, check it out again. I play on very hard and the only towers I level up before periodics are monsoon and freezing. You are on normal, so just copying me should work perfectly, right?

Where do you see differences to my way of playing the towers? Maybe I have good reasons for what I do.

actually i just did some trial and errors

but i used your strategy as a foundation to that..

i just thought that by having those curse towers i can kill 500 donalds

haha i was just amazed whenever i see the damage reaches 700k in one hit coz of the

maledict thingy, .... but i still can't stop them from passing the 2-pass area so early

i even tried to build 3 periodics haha but didn't do any good, tried Periodic and Pure Dark combination as well still no good..

well anyway i'll just wait for the replay thanks Sensei (bow)

I personally think that hunting ronalds is fun, but not really the point of eletd. I'd rather see you play vh sr than 500 ronalds on nm pick.

thanks haha actually i aimed for 500kills there haha

i ended up at 499!

well before that replay i played at VH AP and i killed 200+donalds

but lots of leaks from the previous waves, anyway thanks for the help and

support...hmmm there's one thing that i noticed in VH

creeps spawn faster than normal...correct me if im wrong....

yes, you are right. if I remember correctly the timer for next wave after someone killed a wave is 25/20/15/10/5 seconds on difficulty VE/E/N/H/VH but that might not be the exact numbers, but something like it. reason is we have changed them around since the public beta.
