Karawasa Posted June 22, 2007 Basically, you select a target for this tower (can be ground targeted). A stream of stuff (ice, sludge w/e) goes from this tower to the target. This would be channeling. Creeps that get hit by this stream at any point are slowed, and perhaps damaged. Thoughts? Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest GkJ-mo Posted June 23, 2007 looks like what the glacier tower does right now, when combined with some sort of well-tower Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest 1mpulse Posted August 8, 2007 sounds like a good slowing tower if micro'd properly Go to top Share this post Link to post
Twilice Posted August 8, 2007 But there must be a way of attack without micro mustn't it? Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest Sancdar Posted August 9, 2007 Considering that the focus of many ideas is "if it's micro it's good" I'm hoping that the game will be playable without crazy micro, or Gip's over 9000 APM. Go to top Share this post Link to post
holepercent Posted August 9, 2007 i don't think we need so many micro-heavy towers... and what would be the range? Go to top Share this post Link to post
Karawasa Posted August 9, 2007 Why would this tower require micro? You would place it in a smart place, and just let it go, slowing the entire lane. Go to top Share this post Link to post
holepercent Posted August 9, 2007 the opening post says you SELECT a target/ground.. as opposed to the tower firing a stream of stuff in a line... Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest Sancdar Posted August 9, 2007 Well, the "good" way to use it sounds like you'd be trying to sweep it across the lane just ahead of the lead creeps. Like Glacier, basically. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Karawasa Posted August 19, 2007 Glacier fooled everyone, it was not a stream of slow. It was simply a normal splash 'n slow tower with an interesting attack projectile . At any rate, this tower would work like you thought Glacier did... Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest Sancdar Posted August 19, 2007 No, we knew how glacier worked, it just never hit the creep it aimed at if you let it manual. You either had to micro it intensely, ground attack one spot for low effectiveness, or use a level 2 ice tower instead. Go to top Share this post Link to post
