Power Towers

Have anyone tried Power Towers?

I tried it for the first time today, it has a great idea and it is fun.

But it could need some mayor polish, The multiboard at start seemed buggy, and some towers seem pointless.

Try to have your generators and brigdes uppgraded alot. And elemental arrows only seem to work if you have more then 2.

I don't like this either... In fact, i don't like any mazing td where you can maze in a way that creeps pass towers like 8 times instead of once. and it takes 3 hours to beat it. (Although there might be a racemode)

Absolutely love this TD. Easily one of the best mazing ones out there. Needs some tweaks but it miles better than most out there. There's really a whole lot of ways to come at this one in terms of how you build your maze, which is great.

As for it taking too long, it's called Rush Mode. As soon as one player kills a wave everyone has to start the next one. It puts a stop to that very quickly and forces the builders of 100000 arrow towers to actually learn how to do something that requires actual effort. There's also a race mode where you win by being the first to beat level 15, 20, 25, or 30 where everyone can play at whatever pace. I virtually always play rush because the one thing this map really needs is a food limit to prevent arrow tower spamming, although just selecting Rush Mode takes care of that all by itself.

My main problem right now is that only once out of every 6 games or so does anyone manage to last to wave 20 with me, which is kind of sad. Mainly because they waste time building Tesla towers, and noobish stuff like building water wheels before they have a level 3 major attacking tower. The next version also needs a tower rebalance. Rock launchers are good as the allround basic attacker, but among the other attackers if you're upgrading anything but Chemical you're intentionally making the game harder. Everyone should have at least a level 1 Lich tower though. The support towers are way underplayed though. Dark Tower especially. Graveyards are also underplayed because most people don't manage their money well enough to make them work. A lot of players also don't know how to capitalize on the fact that upgraded arrow towers can = constant double damage from other upgraded arrow towers, if you position them right. Holy and Swarm towers both need a do-over in a new version so that there's something happening besides Rock Launchers and Chemical towers. Demon tower does nice damage but is a complete power hog to the point I don't like it because feedback rounds eat you alive. Personally I think Tesla tower is a joke on noobs, but I seem to be in the minority. It's okay how it is, I just don't think it's good late game.

The fact that it has a race and rush mode means among mazing TD's this has a huge thumbs up from me because it makes overmazers very very dead. Also the whole generator/power supply thing is a really great gimmick.

A new version would really polish it nicely. I like it better than Gem TD which seems to be the most hosted mazing one these days. Gem is very good, but takes a really stupid amount of time to play. Needs a rush mode itself. Sprout TD 1.2 is also awesome and needs to be hosted more. That is a mazing TD that moves at serious pace, and is very hard in the good way.
