Guest mrchak Posted June 11, 2007 when you're hosting a game and someone is really annoying, wouldn't it be nice to shut them up? Is it possible to have a command line like "-mute Purple" so that their text is not visible to other players? Go to top Share this post Link to post
0rb3r Posted June 11, 2007 Excellent idea, you could include a feedback so that the acolyte builder displays the silenced symbol (from the skill of Sylvanas in W3) and make the annoying guy listen the silence skill sound each time he writes a message, so he knows he is actually talking trash. Lol that would be funny Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest xSolmyRx Posted June 11, 2007 0rb3r, HAH! That's classic. :] I think the silenced person would pull from the game, though. Although, it's not like you're going to be missing out on much, any way. He'd be doing you a favour. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest Sancdar Posted June 11, 2007 That's what the B.net /squelch (or /ignore) command is for. I think it's also unpleasant to code into the map, and muting a player shouldn't be a host command anyhow. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Guest mrchak Posted June 11, 2007 Fair enough. Sometimes its fun to get swept into a meaningless stupid conversation with other players... sometimes it just makes my head hurt. Go to top Share this post Link to post
