The point is simple...that odds are, with 7 players playing on very easy, odds are, less than 6 actually know what they're doing, and so the VH player will have a nice cushion of time to wait on because VEs 5-7 are leaking despite being on very easy.

You get the idea. It's so that screwing up the game will be a team effort.
