You don't need knowledge of map making, programming etc. All you need to have is knowledge of the game, and opinions on how to improve it. There are plenty of active topics for you to weigh in on, and of course, you are free to start your own. Go to groups (found in the menu at top), pull down the menu, select Dev Team, and join.
