Doesn't Hex have an AoE effect as well?

It will have the same dps.Well, it could be somewhat lower; higher attack rate could result in overkill - aka lost dps

I think it would be nice if grenade towers and ray towers had different projectile graphics. I don't know what's entailed in executing this, but it might help at the beginning of full length games, to make it easier to distinguish which towers are attacking what.
May use the battle cruiser auto-attack projectile for the ray tower?
Definitely not a show stopper, but I think it would be a nice-to-have.

Awesome! I'm hoping this will keep up with the quality from WC3... unlike most TDs - I think Squadron TD is supposedly the best out currently... and that TD is pretty much anti-fun.

When starting a new game, I have a tendency to alt-tab out of SC2 while the game loads. It seems like when I reopen SC2 (as non-host) and there is a menu open, I appear to encounter an issue where clicking Game Length, Difficulty, Order, etc. causes the menus to not appropriately close. My best guess is that the problem arises when I choose an option after the host makes his selections.
This issue is certainly a result of my laziness, but I don't want to play the game with a modal popup showing for the length of the game.
