Thanks guys, I appreciate it. If it's any help it is not an instantaneous lock up, I'd say it's akin to running along a smooth paved road, then wading through water, then honey, then hardened cement.

Greetings, I've found that the game locks up when electrical towers are built. Windows Key + D to minimize to the desktop is nonfunctional and the only thing to do is to attempt to get taskman running to force quit WC3 or to hard reset the computer. Using 9800GT mobile C2D 2.0GHZ 3gb Ram Otherwise the game plays fine. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Thanks Omnomnom
