Let me see if I can describe this well. When cast (point target) it will shoot an "Orb" to the target point (it stops when it reaches the point). Along the way this "Orb" will spawn "Shards" that land randomly and deal AoE damage. "Shards" spawn every X seconds, with X being a function of the distance to target point. That way, the "Orb" will always spawn X "Shards" regardless of distance traveled.

No, I don't see any problems. I just wanted to make sure this was indeed a tower idea and not something else you were cooking up. :P

Deaod, will this tower lag anymore than other "dummy unit moves" towers? By this I mean how does the "lag" compare to say Shrapnade, Shockwave, Orbit, Boomerang etc.?
