  1. I think way it works now, limits the "bouncing" effect, and I assume it's intentional.


    Let's say Dark Tower deals 1000 damage.

    Creep 1 has 500 HP.

    Creep 2 has 250 HP.


    - Dark Tower hits Creep 1 (500 - 1000) 500 leftover damage.

    - Creep 1 dies and "bounces" 500 damage to Creep 2 (250 - 500) 250 leftover damage.

    - Now there is 250 damage ready to be "bounced" but instead of calculating it (250 - 500) it is (250 - 250). Outcome is same, but it limits Dark Tower having insane "bouncing" kill-chain effect.

    Also take a look on "Rainbow Defense", I completed this on 1 star, way back when achievements were released, but ever since it dosen't register higher stars, even if I meet the requirements.

    Speaking of talents..

    Probably wont be bad idea to create very own talent tree system for the game. At wave 15 you have ability to choose cooldown reduction for your support towers, or empower the unique ability of your single element towers, or something similar.

    I figured out how the saving works, but it's still bugged.. Only arrow and cannon towers though, it simply dosen't save the upgrade.

  5. Realized that 2x speed not only increases the game speed, but also zoom speed.. Dunno if it's intended or not.. Personally I don't have issue with it, but gonna report anyways..

  6. Eyaa.. So I haven't really been here since the Dota version "died out".. But I have been playin mobile version recently, It's really nice "afk-school-game" and I wanna bring up some (old) suggestions.




    • Single-tap confirmation
      • Currently you have to double-tap everything. Select a tower > yes, I want to build this.
      • This is more like personal preference, but I would like to build / select everything with single-tap.


    • Pause or "Always press start to begin the wave"
      • I feel like the mobile version is "fast phased with akwardly slow selecting", I want some downtime so I can plan ahead.
      • Pause simply pauses the game, but you can still access everything. Kinda like counterpart for 2x speed.
      • Just simply give infinite downtime before waves, It's currently ~5sec?


    • Drag to select tiles / towers
      • Currently you have to tap every tower one by one to group select them. I would just like to drag my finger across the screen and select everything it touches.
      • Again this is just personal preference.


    • Top-down view
      • There was dicussion before about rotating the camera, so you can select towers behind other towers more easily. But it wasn't possible.
      • There could be little "minimap" that shows you top-down view of the playable area, or just simple grid. And you could select the tiles from it.
      • I know you don't want useless shit in the UI and what not, but I think there should be better way to select the one little Light Tower middle of the cloned Hail army.








    • Arrow and Cannon Towers can be buffed while they are in "planting phase".
    • Can be cloned too, with Trickery.
    • You can have buffed Well, Blacksmith and Trickery aswell.
      • Buff normal Light Tower, upgrade Light Tower to Trickery.


    • Most buffs and debuffs resets when you go to "upgrade phase".
    • In theory you can have infinite amount of towers with unlimited buff duration, only using one support tower. Using upgrade - cancel trick.



    • Happens when tower is in "upgrade phase" and you change builder.


    • Click Trickery's ability.
    • Use TAB or control group to select your level 1 dual element tower.
    • Use hotkey of the upgrade you want to clone.
    • Dual element tower goes into "upgrade phase", click it.
    • Cancel the upgrade.
    • Build the dual element tower to something else.


  8. I don't know how many people actually mess around with sandbox mode.. I do for sure.. So maybe there is place for sandbox's own subforum?


    I have this list of "completely useless things you can do in Element TD that are literally harmless and won't change anything anyways". And I don't see point of posting those as bugs, since it's nothing major..

  9. Did you know there is hidden bananas around the maps ?


    I know there is few bananas here and there, that you can find pretty easily just by looking around..

    But this one.. I had to go bottom-right corner of the co-op map, and use showcase mode to find it.. Maybe something happens if you find them all ? :o


    Anyways.. If you find any special banana spots, feel free to share them. ^_^




  10. You could make something like..

    • Every 4th attack splashes enemies in acid -> acid deals DoT.


    • Normal attacks places a debuff (only main target or everything that the splash hits?) (Specific targeting system so the debuff applies to multiple targets automatically?)
      • Every 4th attack triggers the debuff and deals damage.


    I agree that raw crit damage and poison isn't best combination, but just having larger splash every 4th attack is pretty lame..

    GoatAss also had nice ideas, but I think keeping the 4th attack thing is necessary.. Since it fits this Poison -> Hail Tower category, u know?

    So bbaadd.. I was the one saying Hail Tower "buffs" made it even worse than before.. And now you do some "ohh.. but it scales with slows now BrokeBack " things to Poison..


    These patches are going IceFrog status soon.. Can you please add scan ability in 1.9, so I can scan creep's elemental resistances?

    • Switch X towers, switching ability goes into cooldown for 5 waves. (Or whatever it is).
    • Am I able to switch Y towers during those 5 waves?


    • Switch X towers, the ability goes into cooldown.
    • You can't switch anything during those 5 waves.

    Because if the cooldown is "connected to towers" (the first example) not "global", you probably can do some weird stuff with towers that leave buffs, debuffs or any on-going effects without needing the actual tower being active..


    In the previous post I was thinking..

    • Blacksmith buff X tower.
    • Well buff X tower.
    • Switch Blacksmith and buff X tower. (Blacksmith Tower's switch goes into cooldown.)
    • Switch Well and buff X tower. (Well Tower's switch goes into cooldown.)
    • Have 4 buffs in X tower.

    But as you said, the old buffs should be removed..
