  1. The 1. place didn't rebuild or anything. It was just some luck and he did target some frogs manual but if you look in his game history that was also the only game he was able too kill 2 waves.


  2. I don't like the spawn kill strategy right now but I think that is only a problem because the game is too easy(until frogs). So you dont even need to use good positions on the map for your towers. 
     

    I really hope the net-worth Bonus doesn't beat out the speed bonus. So you have to drag out every wave as long as possible for interest gain. 


    I think it would be way better to give the frogs at the end more value(more gold=more frog kills)instead of forcing players too drag out the game but lets test it first. ;o




    I also think rush mode is a good mode. Just increase the time between the Frog waves.

    So your local remainder is 71%30= 11(*0.6=~7k). and his Local remainder is  58/30= 28(*0.6=~17k).
     

      extraFrogScore = remainder * 100 * self:GetBossBonus(playerData.bossWaves-1) * self:GetDifficultyBonus()
       

    if (playerData.bossWaves ==1)  extraFrogscore=0.  So you won't get any extraFrog Score. If you are in the first BossWave.



    That's why you see the top scores all close to 60 Kills and not over because right now you lose points if you get more kills in most cases:D.

    Tip: Stop attacking at 59 kills and save the frogs!


  4. I think it is pretty good right now to speed up the balancing. 

    I think all 2 Element towers are underpowered except the 3. Buff towers. Nature tower seems too strong and overall the game seems too easy. In my opinion the game should be near impossible to beat on Insane rush. So it doesnt come down to who kills the minions 1sec faster.. 

     

     

    IMHO The best player on insane should be able to get to round 52 or something like that.  (doesn't mean that normal should be harder but the hardest mode should be)


  5. Its 30 sec from the last creep spawn. On the map its around the time when the creeps starting to walk up again(entering the E section).

  6. better method :

     

    Open dota add friend -> insert friend ID from the leaderboard, which opens his ingame Profile. (You don't add him as a friend like that)

    and then:

    Go to Recent Games, and any game listed that says it's a Custom Game with Io as the Hero Played will be it. To match it with the Leaderboard, find the game duration that matches most closely, and wah-lah, that's the replay you want to find!

     


  7. Boss waves are 17000, 20000, 23000, ..+3000 for every round.

    +when you die you get a Bonus 17000 for ending the game. I got like 3000 frog kills in my test. That number  doesn't change. So it doesn't matter how many frogs you kill when you dont clear the whole wave.


  8. Ye clear Bonus starts with 20% Speed Bonus with 30%. Every new Wave you add 2% Bonus. I don't like that the hidden 30 sec Speed Bonus. It should be clearer ingame.

    Max Bonus is 128% and 138% at wave 55%. That should help to figure out where you messed up.  You wont have max Speed Bonus most of the time ofc.


  9. Wow interesting . 30 sec streak would explain my example. 

    I am pretty sure the Elemental does not mess up the score unless it leaks. I cleaned it up a lot at the end of the round.

    The Elemental does not even mess up your score when it leaks but it has to be between rounds! Exp: Killed all creeps wave 21 and you have 4 sec until wave 22 


  10. I am top 10 too. I think the calculation get messed up when your kill order of the waves changes.

    Example:

    Killed wave 20 before wave 19 (no life lost) after that I killed the waves after 1s but I still got every round around 4500 points less. (clear Bonus was still intact)
