I personally find the design to be just about the right contrast. It is light enough to see and enjoy the details, but dark enough that it doesn't stand out and distract you.

The level of resolution is amazing; I expected nothing less when I handed over the 300+ mb photoshop file tongue.gif. I sometimes find myself looking at the mousepad instead of using it; it really does the loadscreen image justice.

As for the surface and durability, they match the design in quality. This mousepad replaced your everyday run of the mill mousepad that I have been using for years now. I instantly noticed a significant difference.

The first thing I did was disabled mouse acceleration, it simply wasn't needed anymore. No pun intended but my mouse does kind of glide (Glidz) on the mousepad, yet retains a perfect level of friction for accuracy. I use less effort to move my mouse around the screen, yet I have better control of where it is going.

I occasionally eat at or around the computer desk, and I have spilled loose food and liquids on the mousepad. But, it has proven resilient. It also doesn't move around when you use it (has a good surface on the bottom), and that has kept up well.

Overall, I highly recommend this mousepad. Though I may be biased, I genuinenly enjoy it and I am very glad it exists.

PS: The Glidz kept peeling off of my mouse until I removed my old mouse feet. Just a heads up.

I got mine three days ago.
It looks really cool (it's a pitty that my mouse hides a bit of the image.)
The material is soft (thats really relaxing for my arm) but it smells a bit strange for the first days. But thats nearly gone now.

Um...I really don't know what to say here. I don't usually use a mousepad, so I can't compare it to other ones I've used in the past. The image is good but a little dark. It has good amounts of friction. Anyone who wants reviews of the mousepad quality can look at the dota qpad ones, right?

colour is darker than the screen?

otherwise, it's doesn't move around and the surface is smooth.. the smell when it is first taken out of the tube disappears after a few days..

This mousepad is nice!! Plus it's cool with EleTD background on it!

But... I've got to agree with Kaini, it has strange smell... Hope it will be gone in few days later....

Great contact with the mouse, pretty comfortable to play with. When moving the mousepad does not move, which is good. Works perfectly with "laser mouses".
But the color is a bit black, it looks like the colors are fading away which is not good might have been a production error or vanished from another factor. But it is sturdy so it won't tear appart. But the image is atleast very nice, the part of what you see.

Summary:

Colors 3/5

Comfort 4/5

Gaming ability 5/5

Durability 4/5
_________
Total: 4/5

The part missing froma total 5/5 is the colors, if those were fully like the real image it would have been 5/5 on durability and 5/5 at colors. Thus it is still a 4/5 and I could recommend buying it.

From a coffee stained paper notebook, this quite an improvement.
